Financing

The rights issue was completed in January 2026. Together with the directed share issues carried out during the autumn, Exeger secured approx. 186.3 MSEK during the second half of 2025 and January 2026. In addition, the company was awarded 130 MSEK in grants from the Swedish Energy Agency for the industrialisation and commercialisation of next-generation solar cell technology for indoor applications.

New commercial leadership

Following the completed financing, Giovanni has taken an operational leadership role in the company’s go-to-market activities. A central priority during Q1 has been to define with greater precision where Exeger should focus and how the company drives commercial execution forward.

CES and NRF 2026

At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Exeger launched a self-powered tracking device together with Momax. The strategy was focused — pre-booked meetings with selected partners instead of broad exposure via a large stand.

At NRF 2026 in New York, the company exhibited together with VusionGroup and demonstrated joint retail solutions in a real-world setting. Interest from retailers and partners was strong.

Strategic review

During Q1 a comprehensive strategic review of the business and commercial priorities was carried out, including customer and partner visits around the world. The review has resulted in sharper priorities, a clearer commercial direction and a streamlined commercial organisation. The build-up of the GTM team has been initiated through targeted recruitment. Implementation of the updated strategy begins during Q2.

Smart Retail

Following successful pilot installations in Osaka between April and October 2025, the installation of a 7-Eleven store in Tokyo together with VusionGroup was completed during Q1. The store is an important reference for ongoing and future roll-outs. Interest in Asia is growing and efforts with VusionGroup will be intensified in the region. Some test installations in North America have been delayed, but the work is proceeding according to plan. In parallel, the company is working with Agile Display Solutions on the roll-out of self-powered 32-inch screens.

Smart Worker — PPE and defence

The Smart Worker segment is a priority area covering personal protective equipment and defence. Momentum is strong and increasing. Within NATO’s DIANA programme, the company is working on several product concepts focused on self-powered, connected solutions for mission-critical environments. Further updates are expected during Q2.

Consumer electronics

Exeger continues to work in parallel on several tracks in consumer electronics and is actively evaluating the next phase for the segment.

Outlook

Exeger enters 2026 with a clearer commercial direction, a more focused organisation and a stronger financial foundation. The focus is now on turning early momentum into a repeatable and scalable business. Changes to the composition of the Board have been decided and will be implemented in the coming period. Further updates are expected during Q2, including developments in Smart Worker and the DIANA programme.
