After a challenging first half of the year, Exeger – a leader in self-charging solar cell technology – has now carried out extensive measures to secure its long-term financial and commercial future.
Organisational restructuring: Three rounds of restructuring have been carried out since autumn 2024, focused on making operations more efficient and prioritising activities that directly drive sales and profitability.
Capital raising & share issues:
- In April, 145 MSEK was secured at 10 SEK per share.
- In H2, at least 160 MSEK has been added through bridge loans, a directed share issue and a planned rights issue in December (in total up to 110.42 MSEK).
- The share issue is at 1.00 SEK per share – to enable broad participation among shareholders.
Commercial progress:
- Positive pilot tests at 7-Eleven Japan (Expo 2025).
- Launches with Vusion in the US, Hama (remote controls) and Yecon (e-paper photo frame).
- Kapsch is starting sales of the Elumian product, and 3M is stepping up the collaboration.
Cost optimisation: A comprehensive savings programme lowers the annual cost base by approx. 220 MSEK, from 420 to 200 MSEK.
Looking ahead:
A more focused organisation, a stronger balance sheet and a new GTM (go-to-market) strategy give Exeger better conditions than before to deliver growth at commercial scale.
