How the company makes money
The business model is built on agreements with banks and other lenders. Clar offers them performance-based customer acquisition: the platform matches consumers with lenders based on data, giving partners higher conversion and a lower cost of reaching the right customers. Consumers, in turn, receive several offers to compare in a single application.
Local brands, one shared platform
Each market has its own brand tailored to local consumers, such as LoanDO in Poland, FinanZero in Brazil and Prestalo in Spain. The brands drive the traffic, while the shared technology connects credit assessment, onboarding and compliance in one system. New markets can therefore be launched and scaled on the same infrastructure.
From investment company to operating group
In its early years, Clar built a portfolio of digital credit brokers. With the acquisition of Lendo Group, completed in March 2026, the company became an integrated operating group with Lendo, Mybanker and Compricer in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Pro forma revenue amounted to SEK 383 million in the second quarter of 2026, an increase of 26 percent compared with the same quarter the year before.
Regulation and new structure
New Swedish rules mean that only banks and credit market companies may broker consumer credit. In July 2026, Lendo therefore submitted an application to become a credit market company. In parallel, Clar is preparing a structure with Clar Global Ltd as the new parent company and two subgroups: one for Lendo's regulated Nordic business and one for the international businesses.
