The audio software company Dirac increased net sales to 212.9 MSEK in 2025, driven by the Home Audio segment, which grew 41 per cent. At the same time, operating profit turned into a loss of 0.7 MSEK, weighed down by higher costs — mainly staff — and an impairment of 3.4 MSEK.
The year in brief
Revenue increased 6 per cent. Home Audio rose on the launch of the room correction product ART (Active Room Treatment) and a record-strong Black Friday campaign. Automotive declined when a customer agreement was phased out in the third quarter — other automotive customers increased their volumes and offset a large part of the loss.
Profit turned into a loss as costs rose faster than revenue. The main burden was higher staff costs following a larger number of employees (+19.0 MSEK), as well as an impairment of 3.4 MSEK linked to a discontinued development project.
During the year Dirac capitalised 19.2 MSEK in development expenditure for the software platform IAP and a new website. In November a reorganisation was carried out to shorten decision paths.

Outlook
Dirac expects continued good growth in 2026, based on the order book of signed licence contracts within Automotive and Home Audio as well as continued rising consumer sales.
