Seoul, 22 August 2025 – Epidemic Sound is launching the third release in its global Extra Version programme, this time with the South Korean producer and DJ jeonghyeon. He presents a new take on the popular song “Let’s Talk About Your Ex”, originally created by the Swedish artists Mindme and Hallman.
The Extra Version programme showcases international talent and breathes new life into selected songs in Epidemic Sound's catalogue to offer creators and brands exclusive music. Previous releases have been made by Honey Dijon and Switch, and jeonghyeon's remix continues to connect artists and audiences globally.
jeonghyeon, who has already received support from names such as Martin Garrix, David Guetta and Lucas & Steve and has released music on labels such as Spinnin’ Records and Armada, adds bouncy electronic elements and a pop feel to the original.
"The inspiration came immediately when I received the remix material, and this is one of my favourite remixes so far," says jeonghyeon.
Epidemic Sound's CEO and co-founder Oscar Höglund emphasises that the series is about renewing musical storytelling and that jeonghyeon's version shows how a new interpretation can lift already strong music even further.
The remix is now available on all major streaming platforms and in Epidemic Sound's catalogue, fully licensed for creators, podcasts and advertising. The Extra Version programme will continue to launch new artist collaborations every month from September 2025.
