Blykalla — First step towards the US market
Blykalla is beginning formal pre-application engagement with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for its lead-cooled SEALER reactor. This is a structured dialogue with the regulator ahead of a formal licence application, in which key design aspects will be presented over the coming months to identify regulatory and technical questions early.
It is Blykalla's first step towards licensing in the US. CEO Jacob Stedman describes the country as one of the world's most important future markets for advanced nuclear power. The step marks the company's international ambition alongside the Swedish reactor fleet. At home, meanwhile, new rules for nuclear power have drawn criticism — among others, Fredrik Olovsson of the Social Democrats argues that it is a mistake to force faster nuclear power decisions from the municipalities.

Candela — Global greentech award and international attention
Candela has been named one of the world's leading greentech companies on TIME and Statista's list "World's Top GreenTech Companies 2026". At the same time, the company's electric hydrofoil ferry P-12 is highlighted by Euronews as a way to move commuters back onto the water. The list ranks companies on environmental impact (45 per cent), financial strength (45 per cent) and innovation (10 per cent).
The recognition strengthens Candela's international position in electrified maritime transport — and puts Swedish technology on a global map of companies driving the transition.

Voi — Emissions intensity down 83 per cent since 2019
Voi has published its Impact Report for 2025. Emissions intensity has fallen 83 per cent since 2019, and the company has thereby reached parity with public transport and private pedal bikes.
| 2025 | Previous | |
|---|---|---|
| Emissions intensity since 2019 | −83% | −77% |
| Net-zero target | 2035 | 2035 |
The continued decline confirms the direction of the sustainability work, where most emissions lie in the value chain rather than in the company's own operations.

Stegra — Changes its name to Green Nexus Investment Holding
The parent company is changing its name from Stegra to Green Nexus Investment Holding. The new articles of association were filed on 10 June. Steel and hydrogen have been removed from the description of the business — the company will instead manage shares and properties, directly and indirectly. The subsidiary Stegra Boden AB keeps its name.
It is the second name change since 2024, when H2 Green Steel became Stegra. The change comes just under two months after Wallenberg Investments AB came in as a new major shareholder, and signals a shift towards an investment company structure.

Storsala — Strengthens its board ahead of the next phase
At the annual general meeting on 12 June, Hans Eckerström and Richard Mazeret were newly elected to Storsala's board, which thereafter consists of Johan Nordenfalk (chair), Orlando Villacrez, Martin D’Amore, Kristina Alvendal, Hans Eckerström and Richard Mazeret. Eckerström is chair of Thule Group and Profoto, former chair of Nobia and a board member of Swedbank, Nordstjernan and Cloetta. Mazeret is CEO of NRJ International, part of the French listed media group NRJ Group.
The appointments are made as Storsala expands its property portfolio and organisation, and lay the groundwork for a future listing.

Northmill — Launches bank guarantees for businesses
Northmill Bank is broadening its business offering with bank guarantees for companies, for greater security in commercial agreements and contractual commitments.
The launch is in line with the bank's focus on business services in 2026, where earlier steps have included business accounts. Northmill thereby strengthens its position as a digital full-service bank for businesses in the Nordics.

Mindler — Repayment claim and police report
According to Breakit, the online psychology company Mindler faces a claim of SEK 27 million and has been reported to the police, following reports that exactly the same medical record text was copied between appointments. The claim relates to reimbursement for around 85,000 appointments and stems from a review of the company's digital psychology services.
For Mindler this means a drawn-out process with both financial and reputational risk — a development worth following.
