SnigelDesign – 1,000 backpacks for the front line in Ukraine

Together with Apotea, SnigelDesign has delivered 1,000 medical Snigel backpacks to Ukrainian medics – an effort estimated to save up to seven lives per backpack. The collaboration is a strong example of how Swedish equipment makes a concrete difference in an ongoing humanitarian emergency.

Blykalla – Capital injection of 466 MSEK and signs of an earlier market debut

Blykalla is raising USD 50 million (466 MSEK) in a new funding round led by Oklo (in which Sam Altman is a major shareholder), Klarna billionaire Niklas Adalberth's Norrsken Launcher and Armada. The investors also include heavyweight players in AI data centres – a market where demand for clean baseload power is growing fast.

The capital will fund three parallel tracks: the test and validation programme in Oskarshamn, completion of the design for the first reactor unit, and accelerated commercialisation. Blykalla suggests that the commercial launch of SEALER may come earlier than planned. The company is also planning a new funding round during 2026 – which points to strong confidence in the future and a fast pace of development.

Instabee Group – Patent, partnership and premiere in Finland

New AI-patented sorting technology: Instabee has been granted a patent for a machine learning solution that optimises parcel sorting to the right locker size in real time – particularly effective for soft bags. The result: increased capacity, reduced environmental impact and a smoother customer experience.

Fossil-free delivery for DOUGLAS: Instabee is starting a collaboration with beauty giant DOUGLAS in the Netherlands and Belgium. Customers can now choose Budbee's fast, fossil-free parcel locker deliveries – a step towards more sustainable e-commerce flows.

Time-precise locker delivery in Finland: Budbee is the first company in Finland to launch an exact delivery time at checkout, with 10-minute precision. This is being done in collaboration with Olo-apteekki – and sets a new standard in pharmacy logistics.

Doktor.se – Criticism of charges for free services

Swedish public broadcaster SVT reports that Doktor.se and other online doctors are charging for calls that, according to Region Sörmland (the regional health authority), should be free of charge, such as advice or a referral to a health centre. The region considers this to be in breach of the rules – while the online doctors themselves argue that it is qualified care.

Stegra – Crisis in billion-krona project

Stegra has not yet secured its SEK 10 billion funding round. Investors such as FAM and Just Climate visited the construction site in Boden during the week.
