Hasko becomes new majority owner of Exit Zone ApS – a leading player in safety lighting in Denmark

Hasko Invest has acquired a majority stake in the Danish company Exit Zone ApS, a market-leading supplier of products and solutions in safety and emergency lighting.

Exit Zone was founded in 2007 and has established itself as a leading partner for installers of safety and emergency lighting solutions in Denmark. The company's offering includes central systems, emergency luminaires, exit signs, batteries and other components for safety lighting, combined with high technical expertise and a high level of service. Exit Zone has 15 employees and annual revenue of approximately 50 MSEK with good profitability.

Following the completed transaction, the former owners Anders Kvistborg, Jan Juhler and Søren Vidamo Petersen remain significant minority owners and continue to lead the business operationally.

With Hasko as the new majority owner, Exit Zone's long-term ownership structure is strengthened, which creates good conditions for continued growth, development of the offering and a stronger market position in safety lighting in Denmark.

The acquisition is Hasko's first in Denmark and is in line with the company's strategy of investing in profitable and growing niche product companies in the Nordic region with sustainable competitive advantages.
