Bure and GP Bullhound invest SEK 727 million in Mentimeter

Mentimeter brings in new major shareholders after a 727 MSEK secondary deal

Stockholm – Mentimeter AB (publ), the fast-growing global SaaS platform, has completed a secondary transaction of around SEK 727 million. In the deal, Bure Equity AB (publ) and GP Bullhound Fund VI become new owners – as the company's third and sixth largest shareholders respectively.

Bure invested 531 MSEK and GP Bullhound 196 MSEK. The main seller was the investment company Alfvén & Didrikson. Mentimeter receives no funds from the transaction and continues to focus on fast and profitable growth.

The growth plan includes:
• continued investment in the platform and product development to strengthen its market leadership,
• expanded enterprise sales in new and existing geographies,
• increased investment in product and brand awareness in key markets.

– We are impressed by how the entrepreneurs have developed the company's offering and business model and look forward to supporting continued growth as a long-term owner, says Henrik Blomquist, CEO of Bure.

– Mentimeter solves the global challenge of lack of engagement in an innovative way. We are proud to support their ambitious growth journey, says Joakim Dal, partner at GP Bullhound.

– I am very pleased to welcome Bure and GP Bullhound as new owners and thank Alfvén & Didrikson for their active support over a long period, says Johnny Warström, CEO of Mentimeter.

Mentimeter was founded in 2012 in Stockholm and is used today by 99% of the world's leading universities and 95% of Fortune 500 companies to create interactive and engaging meetings, training sessions and workshops.
